John F. Kennedy Essay - 678 Words
John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born May 29, 1917, in Brookline, Massachusetts, into one of the wealthiest families in the United States. Universally called quot;JFK,quot; he became a millionaire at the age of 21 when his father gave him one million dollars, but politics and sports were of much more importance to him. He loved touch football, tennis, golf, sailing, and swimming. JFK attended Princeton University and Harvard, graduating from there cum laude. He attended Stanford University business school before serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a naval hero during World War 11 when his PT boat was cut in half and he helped to save the lives of his crew. Returning after the war, he was elected to Congress in 1946 and to the Senate in 1948 andâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦At his inauguration, Kennedy said, quot;Ask not what your country can do for you -- ask what you can do for your country, quot; perhaps the most famous single quote from an inaugural address. Among many notables in his cab inet, JFK appointed his brother Bobby as Attorney General. From Eisenhower, Kennedy inherited the quot;Cold Warquot; with the Soviet Union. In 1962, when American spy planes discovered Soviet nuclear missiles in Cuba, just 90 miles from the U.S., many thought the nation was at the brink of war. Kennedy imposed a blockade of Cuba but promised not to invade, and the Soviet Union dismantled the missile bases, resolving the confrontation. (Upon seeing photos of the dismantling, Adlai Stevenson, now Kennedys Ambassador to the U.N, famously said, quot;We are eyeball to eyeball with the enemy, and I think the other fellow just blinked.quot;) Kennedy also promised to send Americans to the moon and bring them back safely before the end of the decade, and although he did not live to see it, his promise came true. He called his program to make things better for Americans quot;the New Frontierquot; and he started the Peace Corps. When the Kennedy family lived in the White House, a managerie of animals abounded on the premises, and Mrs. Kennedy erected a play yard for them under the trees near the Presidents West Wing office. Learning Of Blog Writing And Self Development From The Design
Question: Discuss about the Learning Of Blog Writing And Self-Development From The Design Thinking And Entrepreneurship. Answer: Introduction The report will provide information about learning of blog writing and self-development from the Design Thinking and entrepreneurship. The learning of individual plays critical role in making the decisions for future objectives as well initiatives to meet the goals. The report will consider the knowledge, skills and behaviour of an individual while developing and designing blogs for different elements. The report will develop plan for 6 months to craft improvement in the areas of lacking. Moreover, the analysis of self-learning and knowledge will support to develop the plan for achieving the objectives for managing the skills. Reflection Learning is the most ongoing activities which could be availed at any point of life regardless of place, time or situation. The experiences and learning collected through different situations in surrounding helps in developing own skills and knowledge to the great extent. Blog writing had made me jot down the points which have been learned by me in various sessions specifically. The learning collected out of the Answer the question blog had made me think over the scope of answering the question during a presentation. I came across an interesting fact about 3Fs i.e. friends, family and fools. These 3Fs are meant to invest on our business ideas and turn them into reality. The funds required to commence with a new idea are been provided by these three major part of our life. I had learned new ways of approaching these investors which could lead towards the collection of capital for the business and make our plans real (Gharehchopogh Khaze, 2013). Answering the questions raised during t he presentation also increases our presence of mind which helps in responding towards the information quickly. Design IT is basically a field of problem identification and solutions to the entrepreneurship. Design thinking is the innovative and creative manner of identifying any problem and solving the same effectively. With the initiation of the blog writing and the session I came across immense numbers of facts about design thinking and its concepts related to the entrepreneurship. There are various design thinking tools which I have learned such as value chain analysis, brainstorming, journey mapping, prototype, etc. These tools have contributed highly in making my mind for a business idea and thinking over the idea with innovation and creativity. The next blog Value chain analysis helped me gain enhanced understanding and knowledge about the facts of value chain and its related activities. I had learned that value chain analysis is mainly a tool being used to analyze internal firm activities. Writing the blog made me learn various new concepts about value chain in manufacturing industry. It revealed the functionalities being included in the chain to reach the end product. The learning helped me develop my own conceptual and understanding about the facts of value chain in the industry. I explored that the value chain analysis is been applied into infrastructure, human resource management, technology, procurements, etc. and provides with various services effectively (See blog entry 2, 22nd September, 2017). I developed my knowledge upon the concept over design IT which would help me in my business or job specifically. The term Design thinking has evolved as a new word to me and had created immense confusion as well but with the collection of information and facts about the same made me learn new concept effectively. I even learnt to manage the activities and conduct the analysis at workplace which could be used in my future terms effectively (Gereffi Fernandez-Stark, 2016). Learning makes an individual more confident and knowledgeable upon specific topic which could be discussed with anyone. The facts that I have learnt out of the blog could be used by me in any field or situation for my future. Journey mapping blog made me think over the new ways of jotting down the information about the planning of any business initiation. I explored that the commencement of any business requires having proper planning and map to walk on. The journey mapping of a Kebab shop made me realise the planning requirements and activities needed to attain the desired objective of any business. I developed my learning skills and knowledge regarding the plan of the business. The blog helped me learn about the aspects such as purpose of the business, time, demographic aspect, media, etc. Opening a Kebab shop also needs to focus these aspects so that to establish the business and achieve the desired outcomes (Liedtka, 2014). I experienced that having a journey mapping would make the business activities more clear and easy to be carried out. For instance, what to be targeted, how to be targeted, what to be offered, time, offering, etc. helps in carrying out a business effectively. The next blog was Prototype, writing a blog had helped me in collecting immense data and information related to any topic and explore my knowledge specifically. I had learnt many of the facts and information about different topics which made me use the same in my personal or professional lives. Here, I came across the information about a mobile application to resolve the issues of spoiler. Spoiler itself is a mobile application and is been used to solve issues in any content. Prototype is basically a blueprint of any specific project or model developed to carry out any of the activity. I had experienced that designing a prototype is critical task but one could have perfect picture to execute idea and explain in detail with strong benefits of the app. The prototype of the application had made us learn about the actual process it would take and the action to be made by the same. Design IT, it is the most extraordinary subject I explored out of the various topics. This topic is found to be challenging to take risk like blog writing and thinking beyond your routine lifestyle. It is very difficult to explore any uncommon topic and collect information about it. I believe that finding out new ideas and topic help us to do something innovative and creative in the fields of blog writing. I experienced a new concepts and idea of thinking out of box and making creative activities out of it (See blog entry 5, 14th September, 2017). The design IT or thinking helped me see the activities prevailing in the surrounding from different viewpoints and avail the ideas behind the creativity. It largely helped me in understanding the advertisements, meaning of the tag lines, logo of the organisations as it allow to think out of box specifically (Johansson?Skldberg.et.al, 2013). I even explored that thinking beyond the innovation or creativity provides you with a different image and viewpoint. This proves to be highly profitable in the business activities as well as the personal situations. The blog written on 3D ctrl+P ing is mainly about the 3d printing technology which is been considered as the latest technology in the modern era. I had found that 3D printing technology in now a day playing important roles in developing the things in some creative manner so that to make any prototype of the component. The creative and innovative 3D prototype helps in describing the products in an attractive approach and would be able to explore the same effectively. I came across the new ways of approaching the customers and making them aware about the products in more clear and specific manner. I learnt that in present competitive era, it is very important to be attractive and interesting. It requires to catch the attention of people so that to make them purchase the product and add the profitability factor. This approach could be used in any manner to either sell products or the brand among the people. In my next class, I discovered new topic i.e. 4Ps which means price, place, promotion and product. The 4Ps of marketing define the values of products and services to be introduced in the market by the organisation. With this my learning had been enhanced with more new concepts of marketing and carrying out a business. The blog writing highly benefited me in carrying my own business activities and implements the same effectively. I came across information about the elements of marketing and its benefits which made me learn how to conduct marketing activities. Design thinking had helped me look over the business issues and find an innovative solution of the same. Bringing innovation and creativity in any of the product or services tends to attract more people and contributes in the success of the business eventually. It helped me think in new ways and moulded my ideas into creativity by making use of the concepts of design IT. Developing own interest and knowledge upon specific area of business also helps in bringing improvements in the real life activities. I explored that executing these 4 Ps help business in expanding its roots and acquiring greater number of customer segments towards it (Liedtka, 2015). The design thinking concept had made me learn new ways of marketing such as using visual elements, design as communication, etc. Earlier, I do not acquire much knowledge about the marketing activities and was having different misconceptions about the same. But with this blog, I learnt the actual facts and was able to relate the same to my business activities. I even developed my skills and knowledge of marketing which could be used in my future effectively. Elephant in the room, having heard about this phrase was just a term but with this blog I came to know the actual meaning of the phrase. The phrase Elephant in the room basically means to identify the specific problem behind any situation. The designers things about any situation in different manner and identifies the issues accordingly. This blog made me learn about the problem identification and implementing the solution over it. In the present technological era, we have observed immense new products that have been innovated for lazy people. The products such as electrical tooth brush or electric trimmer are some common examples of innovation which could lead to any issues as well (Levick-Parkin Hanson, 2015). I had learnt the concept of elephant in the room by thinking from a different point of view to encounter the issues and deliver the right information out of the same. Finding elephant in the room is the innovative way of doing something which is out of box or could be said n ext to impossible. The next blog includes discussion regarding the Brainstorming for prototype which is a problem related to a spoiler block. Here I came again with a new topic and concept which has not been heard by me earlier. This is another element of design It which helps in thinking in innovative and creative manner. It helps in evaluating ones own mind and extracting new ideas over business activities. I explored new idea and functionality of innovative application which is been used to eliminate the videos or updates about the daily serials. I discovered that the application blocks the flash updates and helps you avoid any of the particular video of posts you dont desires to watch. I had learnt new technological acts of making such application or conducting any activities with its helps. Brainstorming is basically the discussion about any issue and collecting different ideas towards a single solution (Krone, 2017). I even observed that having many technological options also includes more compli cations and issues rather than usefulness. The next session we discussed making poster design as how it should be and how to figure out the design. I explored the process of design thinking in more detailed manner and found that the thinking goes with empathise, define, ideate and prototype. I identified that thinking with the design point of view involves creative and innovative ideas which allows us to think over new faces. Out of the blog, I discovered that the information collected for the design thinking leads us towards new avenues and help in developing effective results out of it. I saw that design thinking had drafted the activities and had made people work differently regardless of any typical process. As per the design thinking, idea generated over any aspect includes focus over innovation and development of new different concepts specifically. Even, it has been experienced that considering the elements such as empathise, define, ideate and prototype would just not lead to effectiveness but also requires to be impl emented effectively. It is very important that proper execution of the activities is done. I collected immense data and information regarding the design thinking process and its application as well. Out of the activities, I came to know that design thinking could be applied to any kind of concepts of situations. It includes higher scope of improvements and could be carried out in any manner. Design thinking allows introducing new ideas and concepts over any products and makes the things possible. It has been even identified that many of the products such as gravity light or Google keep have been invented to make an addition into creativity and innovation of the thinking. It even displays a group performance where people make things happen, people watch things happen and people wonder things happen (Filatro.et.al, 2017). Design thinking had been emerged with an effective approach by providing people with new ways of thinking and doing something new by moving out of their typical structures. In my previous session I learnt that process of learning design thinking is different and innovative way. The designers design their ideas and prototype by drawing notes and place them handy which could be assessed again and rate further. I had experienced and learned that any activity could not be performed individually and requires having an effective team work. Working in group gives better idea generation and could encourage getting innovative ideas out of the mind. Group working largely benefits in acquiring better innovative options and carry out effective brainstorming for any of the issues particularly. The session also made me learn about hyper loopand solar cityconcepts along with the implementation of that idea (Manzini Coad, 2015). I explored immense varied facts about the innovative ideas which could be used in my future purposes. I could exchange the learning with my belongings to spread more knowledge among them. On overall basis, I have experienced and learnt immense number of ideas and knowledge regarding design thinking which could be used to develop my knowledge towards entrepreneurship specifically. Having learnt about design thinking and entrepreneurial activities, I realised that improvement is an ongoing act which is been carried out through the entire life. Learning could be availed from any aspects or activity and used for the better future. Developing skills and knowledge would make me more confident and positive towards the business activities to be carried out by me in future. I came across a fact that I myself need immense improvements in various areas which must be developed effectively. Action Plan For Development In order to enhance my capabilities and knowledge, it is very important to identify the core areas of improvements and bring specific development into it. With the help of my own evaluation, I found that I am still lacking in some areas which could hamper my potential in both professional and personal lives. It is been expected that the qualities could be improved in approximately 6 months having proper actions towards the lacking. Thus, below is the action plan developed to identify the area of qualities and making effective improvements into the same: Table 1: Action plan Qualities Lacking Action for Improvement Time period (months) Time management Distributing proper time among activities and managing the time. Following propertime management strategies and making proper time table for the accomplishment of the tasks 2 Creativity and Innovation Thinking with different perspectives to have innovative ideas (Parkay.et.al, 2014) Having brainstorming, mind mapping, etc. would help me evaluate the situation. It would improve this quality by observing people and relating the innovative facts with the same. 1 Leadership skills I sometime lack in leading people and boasting their morale Using effective leadership tactics and communicating with the staff would help me lead them effectively. 2 Decision making Accurate and Precise decision becomes difficult in some situation Participated in meetings and evaluating the facts to make proper decisions 1 Conclusion The above discussion concludes that learning is an ongoing activity which could be availed at any point of life regardless of place, time or situation. It has been seen that writing the blog makes learn various new concepts and understanding about diversified topics. It helps in finding out new ideas about any situation to do something innovative and creative in the fields of blog writing. It has been even explored that thinking beyond the innovation or creativity provides you with a different image and viewpoint towards a situation specifically. Thoreau Today free essay sample
Therefore, if he were alive today, America would be the exact type of government that heââ¬â¢d go against and judge harshly. To begin, America is all about majority vote. Thoreau is against this, stating, ââ¬Å"When the power is once in the hands of the people, a majority are permitted, and for a long period continue, to rule is not because they are most likely to be in the rightâ⬠¦but because they are physically the strongest. â⬠(McDougal Littell Literature, page 384). Voting and the majority decide everything, and as Thoreau stated, this does not necessarily mean they are closer to being right. Surely if he were to criticize our form of government, this would be one of the things heââ¬â¢d focus on. Whenever someone of office is chosen or a new law is proposed, elections take place to find which option gets the greater preference. Rather than deciding on a decision through some other process, the choice is placed upon the majority that agrees to one thing. We will write a custom essay sample on Thoreau Today or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page Another concept that Thoreau speaks against is our attitude to go against unjust laws. Most people abide by the law, even if they donââ¬â¢t agree. Thoreau is serious when he says to oppose these unfair rules and refuse to follow them. In a personal story he even tells of a time where he spent a night in jail due to his refusal to pay poll tax. ââ¬Å"If it is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the lawâ⬠(page 385). Thoreau boldly states that if a law asks you to perform an injustice, simply break it. His reasoning is logical, since petition and protest doesnââ¬â¢t usually get you very far and is slipped under the radar by the government. Thoreau himself probably would have refused to pay some taxes or follow another rule in modern day. A recent unjust law that has been under contemplation is Senate Bill 736. The Florida Education Association argued that the law was unconstitutional and strips teachers of their ability to negotiate pay. This law would mean no additional pay guaranteed for advanced degrees as well. The law caused such a conspiracy that letters and emails were sent from all over, the most protest many in office had ever seen. Thoreau was passionate about his beliefs, which only ensures me more that he would fight against our system and judge it harshly were he still alive. Whether because of the emphasis on majority vote, or undefeatable unjust laws, he would surely not favor our government amongst others. Thoreau today would encourage civil disobedience and fight against the rules that he does not agree with just as he did back then.

TV Violence essays
TV Violence essays As soon as viewers turn on the television news, they are bound to hear about incidents taking place that include some form of violence. So long as death sells, we can expect to see more of the same, states Sheryl Grana, associate professor of sociology at the University of Minnesota (Torr, 2006, p. 26). For example, the event could be a plane crash, a suicide bombing, a murder in a local community or an assassination. Very few if any positive items are reported. In addition, a large number of the weekly programs and movies involve some form of violent content. Many of these shows are scheduled during family hours, or when most children are still awake and watching TV. Controversy exists regarding the impact of such violence, especially on youth. Based on research conducted on the effects of media violence, it is still inconclusive whether seeing such programming on a regular basis causes greater youth aggression. Regardless if this cause-and-effect question still remains open to disc ussion, it does not mean that status quo should be accepted. Both the networks and parents have responsibilities to minimize the amount of television violence and encourage nonviolent behavior and caring. Felson (1996) notes that Watching violence is a popular form of entertainment. It is not unusual, for example, to see cars slowing down on the highway to look at an accident or a group of people watching a street fight as if it were the latest TV reality show. World Wrestling Entertainment is one of the most popular spectator sports in the U.S. as well as other countries worldwide. In other nations, people participate in fights between such animals as dogs or roosters or enjoy watching bullfighters. A great deal of literature, even fairy tales, is violent. It is no wonder that TV producers offer programming with extensive violence-it will increase their ratings. A U.S. National Television Violence Study analyzed the...

10 Types of Apostrophe Errors You Should Avoid
10 Types of Apostrophe Errors You Should Avoid 10 Types of Apostrophe Errors You Should Avoid 10 Types of Apostrophe Errors You Should Avoid By Mark Nichol Even considering how many ways the apostrophe can be employed, erroneous use of punctuation mark is endemic. Here are brief discussions of ten categories of apostrophe abuse (including one writers and editors must let stand, even though it may pain them to do so). 1. With Plurals Writing the plural form of a noun in which an apostrophe precedes the plural s, such as when taxiââ¬â¢s is written instead if taxis, is a common error. (This mistake is known as a greengrocerââ¬â¢s apostrophe due to its ubiquity in hand-written- and even printed- store signs.) 2. With Pronouns Pronouns are followed by an apostrophe and s only as contractions (for example, heââ¬â¢s). Possessive pronouns (such as theirs and yours) never include an apostrophe. 3. With Shared Possession When two or more people or other entities are described as separately owning something, each name should be in possessive form: ââ¬Å"Johnââ¬â¢s and Janeââ¬â¢s houses are the same color.â⬠But when they share possession, include an apostrophe and an s after the last name only: ââ¬Å"John and Janeââ¬â¢s house is just down the block.â⬠4. With the Possessive Form of a Surname That shingle on your neighborââ¬â¢s porch should not read, ââ¬Å"The Brownââ¬â¢s house,â⬠unless your neighborââ¬â¢s legal name is ââ¬Å"the Brown.â⬠A sign identifying the residence of the Browns should read ââ¬Å"The Brownsââ¬â¢ houseâ⬠(or simply ââ¬Å"The Brownsâ⬠). 5. With the Plural Form of an Abbreviation No apostrophe is required with plurals of abbreviations. Write, for example, ââ¬Å"They disarmed or detonated several IEDsâ⬠(not IEDââ¬â¢s). 6. With the Plural Form of a Numeral In the rare case of indicating more than one instance of a numeral, do not use an apostrophe: ââ¬Å"Write three 7s on a piece of paperâ⬠(not 7ââ¬â¢s). 7. With a Span of Years Some publications persist in using an apostrophe in a reference to a span of years, but that form is outdated: Write, for example, ââ¬Å"The style, which flourished briefly in the 1960s, made a comeback several decades laterâ⬠(not 1960ââ¬â¢s) and ââ¬Å"He continued to work well into his 70sâ⬠(not 70ââ¬â¢s). Generally, an apostrophe should follow a number only if it is possessive (ââ¬Å"It was 1985ââ¬â¢s longest-reigning Top 40 hitâ⬠), though this style is awkward. (An exception is use of a number to stand in for a person, such as when an athlete is identified by a uniform number, as in ââ¬Å"It was number 13ââ¬â¢s lucky day.â⬠) 8. With the Plural Form of a Word Used as a Word Donââ¬â¢t apostrophize the conjunctions in ââ¬Å"There are no ifs, ands, or buts about itâ⬠or the counterpoints in ââ¬Å"A helpful list of dos and donââ¬â¢ts follows.â⬠(Do, however, retain the intrinsic apostrophe in the plural form of donââ¬â¢t.) 9. With the Plural Form of a Letter Used as a Letter Even when a letter is italicized, it still looks awkward to simply place an s next to it to indicate plurality, so do insert an apostrophe: ââ¬Å"How many mââ¬â¢s do you spell hmm with?â⬠(Follow this rule even when, in the case of an expression such as ââ¬Å"Mind your pââ¬â¢s and qââ¬â¢s,â⬠italicization isnââ¬â¢t necessary.) However, omit an apostrophe when pluralizing capital letters: ââ¬Å"She received only As and Bs on her last report card.â⬠10. With Brand Names Many brand names, such as Starbucks Coffee, that technically should include apostrophes donââ¬â¢t, for one of two reasons (or both): A company decides that the brand name and/or logo look better without an apostrophe, or it reasons that itââ¬â¢s better to omit the punctuation mark so that people typing the URL for the companyââ¬â¢s website into a Web browser or searching for it (or for other references to the company) online wonââ¬â¢t have difficulty doing so. Management accounting Essay Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 1500 words - 4
Management accounting - Essay Example Question 1 A modern firm is a learning firm which learns from history and plans for the future (Campbell and Huffington, 2008). This is where management via accounting comes in as a way to learn. Accounting processes gather and organises information which can then be used to identify trends in the market (Bhimani and Bromwich, 2009). Just like humans look at past trends and predict the future, organisations can look at these trends in the past and know what the future will be. The modern organisation has not only learnt how to predict the future, it has also learnt how to change the future and determine what the future will be. According to Chandler (1977), this ability of the organisation to not only know and predict the future, but also change the future and determine what will happen with a high precision is what makes the modern organisation so different from the enterprises of earlier days. Chandler looks at the modern organisation not only as a person, but as a society of peopl e. As he says, instead of the earlier model of organisation which used to be run as stand alone unitary organisation, the modern organisation is a network of sub divisions, each of which are sophisticated enough to be run on their own. In other words, these subdivisions within the organisation are like organisations on their own, only that they are run under a bigger umbrella organization. When an organisation is made of a network of organisations, sharing of information between these units in order to make sure that processes among these organisations are carried out efficiently becomes critical (Hoskin and Macve, 1990). This is because this leads to the following important factors; Increased efficiency Increased efficiency in an organisation is important as it does not only reduce costs but also makes it possible for the organisation to be able to access the market in an easier way (Freeman, 2010). For instance, if the marketing department in an organisation is able to share accur ate information about the market with the manufacturing department, it becomes easier for the manufacturing department to plan their manufacturing processes. This makes it possible for the manufacturing department in such an organisation to plan for labour, raw materials and storage facilities thus saving on costs and also being able to deliver the products to the market at the right time. Management via accounting only helps an organisation to achieve efficiencies if the organisation acts like a society of people which can learn from each other and make the society better. Modern organisation therefore use management via accounting like a mind that is always learning to be better and to perform better as times passes along. Cash Flow Predictability Organisations can easily predict and plan for cash flow processes. If the organisation can easily know when the demand will rise in the market, they are better prepared to know when to produce, when to hire more labour, when to do market ing and when to borrow money. This is only achieved through sharing of management information within the organisation and thus making it easy for the firm to know when it will receive the money and when to get external funding (Bardoliwalla, Buscemi and Broady, 2009). Furthermore, when an organisation has this kind of information, they are able to have

VALUE ESSAY Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 2500 words
VALUE - Essay Example Cultural Values in Nursing Provision In actual clinical case, there had been one particular patient, Mrs. R.K.A, 66 years old, female widow from Scotland, who had been admitted in a general hospital for 3 days due to severe abdominal pain and vomiting of blood. Her whole hospital duration had been challenging for the health care team for a number of reasons. For one, her advancing age renders her quite difficult to handle, for she tends to stick with her herbal medications, and disregards treatments indicated for her in the medical facility. In other times, she has other racial beliefs that deviate away from medical concepts, such as reasons for her ailment, which she attributed to celestial and magical beings. Although mentally fit and psychologically coherent, such bouts of ethnic differences can indeed try the patience of any health practitioner. The situation exhibits the cultural values that the patient adapted prior to hospitalization. In retrospect, although totally different from the values nursing professionals follow in clinical practice, such personal principles by the patients serve as an eye-opener on the impact on moral and ethnically principles that each adapt. As expounded by Fry and Johnstone (2002), these categories of values are generated as an acceptable part of the norm by cultural groups, which falls in line with their belief concepts and are considered to give full justice and worth to systems of valid experiences existing cultural groups. In the clientââ¬â¢s case, the significance placed on certain traditional beliefs of ancestral sources must be taken into professional consideration when rendering care. To relate with such reflective case, Davies and Finlay (2000, p. 83) suggested the three-stage framework in correlating experiences according to three aspects: ââ¬Å"stage one (returning to the experience), stage two (attending to feeling), stage three (re-evaluating the experience).â⬠On the first level, recall of the whole cas e episode is suggested in an objective manner. After doing so, oneââ¬â¢s own mental and emotional reaction to such events are reviewed, internally touching on constructive emotional elements, while eliminating distracting experiences not related to the case in point. Lastly, after reactive emotions are identified, these are connected to personal situations, examining for similarities and distinctions, all the while, the newly developed ideals are incorporated on oneââ¬â¢s philosophical knowledge and attitude (Davies & Finlay, 2000). Such procedures must be followed in every step in order to make relevant values alteration and integration on the professional level. On actual application, the import of being aware on how other cultural values operate must be monitored and identified early in nursing practice. The level-based critical reflection approach is relevant, not only for health care team, but also for clients and families as care recipients--extension of care to families is necessary for they provide support on physiological and psychological aspect of patientââ¬â¢s treatment and healing. As herbal and mythical dynamics are highly common in Scottish lands, these must never be dismissed as mere diversions. Although health personnel do not encourage such ideals, they must also be professional enough not to condone such
